The sensor / circuit (or both) has been replaced on my logger. Why do I need to recalibrate the logger?
If the sensor and the circuit or even just one of them should be replaced, the calibration chain is interrupted. In fact, the calibration does not depend only on the sensitive element but is a mix of variations based on the temperature to which the union of electronics and sensor is subjected. In fact, both vary with temperature and therefore both must be calibrated. Since the autoclave devices are fully subjected, ie both electronic and sensitive, to the high temperatures of the sterilization process, Tecnosoft immerses the logger completely in a calibration bath in order to calibrate the entire logger. When one of these two parts is replaced, their univocal chain is interrupted and it is therefore necessary to recalibrate the entire system.
